I’m Nichole, the intuitive tarot reader, card shuffler, squirrel chaser, and occasional finder of meaning in the most unexpected places behind Between the Veil.
For me, tarot isn’t about predicting some unavoidable future written in stone. I see the cards as a way to slow down, look beneath the surface, and explore the energy, possibilities, patterns, and choices surrounding us.
Sometimes the cards confirm what we already know deep down. Sometimes they offer a completely different perspective. And sometimes they lovingly call us out on our nonsense. Tarot has a way of doing that.
My relationship with tarot began when I was around 17 or 18 years old, but my connection to the unseen started long before I ever picked up a deck of cards.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt deeply connected to something beyond the physical world around us—something greater than what we can see, touch, or easily explain. I’ve always had a strong sense of intuition and learned early in life that sometimes I simply know something before I can explain how I know it.
Tarot eventually gave me a language for something I had already been feeling.
Over the years, I continued reading and developing that connection, often reading for friends and people close to me. And while part of me always wanted to share this side of myself more openly, another part of me hesitated.
Not everyone believes in tarot, intuition, spiritual connection, or the things we can’t necessarily explain—and I knew that.
So for a long time, I kept this part of myself relatively close.
But the desire to read for others never really went away.
Between the Veil isn’t my first time creating on YouTube, but it is the first channel that has felt different.
It feels like home.
There’s something about sitting down with my cards, turning on the camera, and sharing this part of myself that feels incredibly natural—almost like I finally stopped trying to figure out where I was supposed to fit and simply stepped into a space that had been waiting for me all along.
For years, I wondered whether I should be more open about this side of myself.
Eventually I realized I didn't need everyone to understand it.
I just needed to be willing to share it with the people who do.
And that realization became a big part of Between the Veil.
My readings are intuitive, honest, encouraging, and grounded.
You won’t find fear-based readings here. I’m not interested in convincing you that something terrible is lurking around the corner or that your entire future depends on one card appearing in a spread.
And I’m definitely not here to tell you how to live your life.
Your choices belong to you. Always.
Instead, I use tarot as a tool for insight and reflection. I’ll tell you what I see in the cards, explain how I’m interpreting it, and help you explore what that message could mean for your situation.
There may also be laughter involved.
Actually…there will probably be laughter involved.
Because spiritual work can be meaningful without being solemn every second of the day.
Outside of tarot, I’m a creative soul with a serious weakness for all things whimsical, spooky, meaningful, and slightly unusual.
I love creating things with my hands, finding treasures where other people might not think to look, and surrounding myself with objects that have a story behind them.
I’m also easily distracted by squirrels.
Both figuratively and, unfortunately, literally.
My life hasn’t followed a perfectly straight road, and I don’t pretend that it has. I’ve experienced love, loss, change, grief, unexpected beginnings, difficult endings, and plenty of moments when life absolutely did not go according to plan.
Those experiences are part of what I bring to my readings—not because I have all the answers, but because I understand what it feels like to be standing at a crossroads wondering, Okay…now what?
To me, Between the Veil represents that beautiful space between what we already understand and what we’re still discovering.
The known and the unknown.
Intuition and everyday life.
The question and whatever comes next.
Tarot gives us a moment to stand in that space, listen a little more closely, and perhaps see something we couldn’t see before.
